Between David Cameron, Barack Obama and their guide dogs Theresa May and Hilary Clinton, human rights have taken a severe shake up. The signing of the recent National Defence Authorisation Act 2012 by Barack Obama (on New Years eve whilst everyone else was out getting drunk) was the latest in a line of acts signed by our so called leaders that have watered down our liberty. These acts include the UK's Terrorism Prevention and Investigatory Measures (TPims) and of course the USA Patriot Act 2001.
Having read through them they make for unsettling reading, which is more than can be said for congress or parliament who probably read the cover and proceeded to nod it through like a CFA meeting.
Never at any time has it been more important to ask more questions. Unfortunately for us all, this has not been the case.
The shame of it all is that the majority passively accept what they are told because we are all too easily distracted. Entertainment shows, so called 'reality' shows and soap operas dominate the airwaves and if they do not get you here then they immerse you in sport 24/7. They underpin this 360˚ distraction television by constantly bombarding us with news streams depicting images of terror designed to keep us in a constant state of fear. Of course once they have sown the seed of fear and terror they then proceed to show us 'heroic' images of our soldiers after being half blown to kingdom come and encourage us all to pay for their rehabilitation and after care.
The government sent them to die, the government should then honour their duty to care for them once they have been injured or maimed and provide for their families if they do not make it home.
There is a reason why I call it the social conditioning box.
Through the power of the media they demonise immigrants and asylum seekers (formerly known as refugees) blaming them for unemployment, increases in crime and a stuttering economy, whilst brushing under the carpet the true reasons for this-the disproportionate standard of living between those that have and those that do not. You cannot have continuous growth in a system that is good for a few and terrible for the rest. It is designed to fail.
The danger lies in the fact that the daily lies they sell us encourage us to ask for the sanctions they impose on our liberties just because we did not truly understand what is was we were asking for.
The needs of the many out way the needs of the few and until this is understood by all we will fail to achieve any kind of security, safety or peace, today or tomorrow. Homeland security extends beyond the falsely created borders we have created for ourselves for the entire planet is our home.
To this end we must stop letting the ruling class divide us through language, racism does not exist other than for government to sell wars and hatred to us. We are one human race.
Until this dawning comes to us all we shall all have to make do with the signing away of our liberties and watch them die out to the sound of thunderous applause.
